Kartik Rathod is a multifaceted professional whose career blends architecture, photography, and creative marketing. He earned his degree in Architecture from Rachana Sansad’s Academy of Architecture in Mumbai in 2014. During his time as a student, Kartik’s burgeoning interest in photography evolved into a significant creative pursuit, leading him to explore various artistic fields.

Initially focused on architecture, Kartik’s curiosity in photography opened new avenues for him in the creative industry. His diverse portfolio includes work as a photographer, documentary filmmaker, and marketing and partnerships expert. Kartik has had the privilege of collaborating with notable figures in the music industry, such as Kailash Kher, Salim Merchant, Sunidhi Chauhan, Niladri Kumar, Hariharan, and Shubha Mudgal.

He has also undertaken several high-profile government projects, including visual documentation for Gandhi Ashram sites and the Kerala Government Secretariat in Trivandrum. Kartik regularly produces content for prestigious institutions like the British Council, University of Arts London, and International Study Program.

In his previous roles, Kartik served as the MarComm Head for The Project Cafe (2016-17) and as the Events-Partnerships Head for Ministry of New (2017-19). His experience in these positions has honed his skills in strategic communication and event management.

His involvement extends to Kamala Rani Sanghi School and Sanghi Temple in Hyderabad, where he has played a key role in their initiatives and growth. Kartik is also engaged with the Museum of Solutions, a space dedicated to innovative problem-solving and learning, which aligns with his passion for education and interactive learning.

Kartik’s commitment to animal rights is demonstrated through his decade-long work with Animal Equality India, where he engages in undercover investigations, vegan outreach, and advocacy, reflecting his deep passion for ethical treatment of animals.

Beyond his professional achievements, Kartik is passionate about teaching. He has shared his skills with underprivileged children through various NGOs and has also conducted workshops for professional photographers and architectural students. His dedication to education reflects his belief in the power of mentorship and skill development.

One of Kartik’s recent highlights was his first photography exhibition in London at NuGa Art House, where all his photographs were sold on the opening day. This success underscores his talent and the high demand for his work.

Kartik describes his approach to photography as an exercise in capturing timeless moments and exploring the nuances of space through composition, color, light, and shadow. His architectural background influences his unique perspective, allowing him to see each frame with fresh eyes and a deep understanding of spatial dynamics.
